Gratitude and Acceptance Christianity Poem

by Rose Vawter
(Lakewood, WA Pierce)

For My Sake

GOD is good, GOD is great everything He does is FOR MY SAKE. HE is there in the morning and there at night, all through the day He makes things right FOR MY SAKE. HE is in my soul and in my heart, because of JESUS we will never part. GOD is good, GOD is great everything HE does is FOR MY SAKE.

Thank You Lord

by Sandra Wylie
(Scotland)

Thank you Lord for your great care
For you and your staff are always there
Through the night and each new day
They guide and protect me all the way
In rightous paths they lead me on
Till the dawning of that golden morn
When at last arriving safely home
Never having cause, again to roam.

You Are Blessed Poem

by Debbie
(California)

You are Blessed

You are blessed with many things,
you probably cannot count them all.
It really doesn't matter if
they're big or if they’re small.

Just be grateful for each of them.
Thank God for every one.
It is He who made it happen–
Our begotten son.

A Poem about GODS BLESSINGS

by Vickie Etherton
(Newport,Tn.)

Gods Blessings

The blessings that he gives us,
The love that he shows,
In every gift of life
Is the sweetest way we know
That we should ever praise him
And bow before his feet.
In the caring of his love,
We shall forever reap.

Poem Prayer of Gratitude to God

by Stephen Hervey
(Newport News Va)

A daily occurrence

The days will surely change as they come and go,
because there are days that rain and days that snow,
and there are also days when the wind will blow,
some days go by fast and some days go by slow,

and some days we may react by just saying oh,
and some days we may even hear the rooster crow,
and some days we have our trials and burdens to tow,
as we say amen to God and to the wicked we say woe,

but what occurs every day is what I want you to know,
every day I have thoughts that are high and not low,
and these thoughts keep on coming like a steady flow,
they are my thoughts of you that continue to grow,

lovely thoughts that perpetuate from an endless row,
so I think about how you gladly give and bountifully sow,
and I think about how you shine like a rainbow,
and I think about how your beauty has a special glow,

and I think about the tremendous love that you show.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians 4:8, bible verse on gratitude)

With God Nothing Is Impossible Poem

by Stephen Hervey
(Newport News Va)

With God

With God we have so very much to be thankful for.
With God we have peace and rejoice evermore.
With God we walk by faith through an open door.
With God we have so much to experience and explore.
With God we have all eternity and the universe to tour.
With God we advance in the way and soar.
With God we fly high without leaving the floor.
With God we pass the test with a perfect score.
With God life is diverse, exciting and never a bore.
With God we are involved in a work too great to ignore.
With God helping others is a joy, not a chore.
With God we receive guidance and blessings galore.
With God we can be generous and give to the poor.
With God we have treasure in heaven for us in store.
With God through all things we are able to endure.
With God as our refuge and strength we are secure.
With God we are able to have a heart so pure.
With God we are victorious and of this we are sure.
With God we are one with God in us deep in the core.
With God we have each other to love and adore.

Luke 1:37, For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Christian Poem Gratitude

by Dominique Givens
(Baton Rouge, LA)

Thanks for Another Birthday

Thank you Father for this day.
You have blessed me in a major way.
You are the reason I am out of the bed,
so I must fall to my knees and bow my head.

I praise You and only You.
For it is You that always come through.
Throughout my 26 years,
there were so many tears.
But You my Father, erased my fears.

It was your grace and mercy that has kept this beautiful smile on my face.
It was the Holy Spirit that has kept me in the lead of this race.

Now that I am a year older,
I can clearly see that the world is only getting colder.
Lord I ask for You to bless my family.
Please watch over them day and night carefully.
Father, thank You for allowing me to see another day.
For I am grateful for Your Son, who has paved the way.

You know me Lord, for I do not hide.
For my only wish is to be by Your side.

May 30, 2012 (my birthday)

"One thing that struck me was the stripping of ego in the work. Most of us have a comfy ego façade, but weakness and disease tore Katherine’s away. The poems in Be Loved Beloved come from the heart."
