Poem Awesome God

by Robert Gresak
(South Africa)

THE ONE SUPERNAL LIFE

God is not a mind but the cause that the mind is,

not a spirit but the cause that the spirit is,
not light but the cause that the light is.
(Translation from the Hermetic fragments by Dr Anna Kingsford)

Do not the very stones, rocks and mountains,
valleys, flowers and trees bear testimony
to that indelible reality.
Do not the wild birds voice endlessly and joyfully
of that vast universal encompassing sanctity.

What mortal mind can conceive
even one atom of that cosmic grandeur,
of that which is the formless cause.
What mortal mind can conceive of that which does weave
endless suns, worlds and stars,
whose very breath is the universe’s core
and before which even the highest and greatest spirit beings
tremble in awe.

Robert Gresak.

Our Father
by: Norma

AND WE CALL HIM FATHER.

We can never understand - only trust.

When we have learned as much as we can, here, in the veil of forgetfulness, we'll return. Hopefully wiser children.

A Poem About God as Creator

by Robert Gresak
(South Africa)

SUNBEAM

I beam down from my great parent-body,
ageless, forever young, eternally vital
and brimming with undiminished energy.

I bring warmth, heat, and my light nourishes
all plant life and creates a panorama of riotous
colour in the Eastern and Western sky.

All life, man included, revels and delights
in my warmth and energy whether reflecting off
a dewdrop or moist leaf or blade of grass,
flashing from luminous rock, flower, waterfall
or snow-covered mountain peak.

I create pictures of sparkling wonder
delighting the eye and heart of man and beast.
I bring a spark of the cosmic fire of my cosmic parent.
I am boundless life and the giver of life
and my giving is ceaseless.

I shatter the cloak of night making glad all of creation
for my spears of light carry with them the blessings
of the great and supreme creator.

"One thing that struck me was the stripping of ego in the work. Most of us have a comfy ego façade, but weakness and disease tore Katherine’s away. The poems in Be Loved Beloved come from the heart."
