Reincarnation and Oneness

Eternal Journey of The Soul

"For like a child sent with a fluttering light
to feel his way along a gusty night
man walks this world again and yet again.
The lamp shall be by fits of passion slain
but shall not He who sent him from the door
relight the lamp once more and yet once more./"

(Translated from the Persian)

Indeed we come into this world, this dense and material Earth over and over to experience material life anew, to right old wrongs, hurts and sufferings caused and to further advance the evolution of our souls.

Truly, over the long, long periods of our many incarnations how often did we allow ourselves to fall into fits of passion and anger thereby slaying the dimly glowing lamp.

And yet the Master of the universe in His vast love and compassion rekindles again and again that inner light to put us once more on track on this eternal evolutionary path of the spiritual growth of the soul and the high spirit Self.

As the years pass, and as I become more and more sensitive to the inner realm of the soul I also become more aware of this same light in all things. The sun shines more brightly with a cosmic halo of pulsating love, flowers seem more colorful and more fragrant, the trees take on a vibrant majesty and the wild birds sing and chirp with the passion of life.

It’s not difficult to then realize and fully appreciate the oneness of all life forms, that eternal oneness of being which pulsates in the ant, a flower, a tree, a sun and the trillions of star worlds in the galaxy.

With this realization it saddens when abuse continually, pollute and destroy so much of nature. All things are connected like the blood that unites one family.

Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons and daughters of the Earth. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web he does to himself.

However, it is heartening to see huge numbers of people have and are 'awakening' as it were, to this realization.

Large numbers do what they can to preserve and maintain the beauty of our world. Life is truly precious and one.

As the late Annie Besant stated so well:-
"O hidden life vibrant in every atom
O hidden light shining in every creature,
O hidden love embracing all in oneness.
May each who feels himself as one with thee,
know he is also one with every other."

True Forgiveness

I too went through the wonderful period of experiencing the Unity of all things you describe so well....but then I saw even those beautiful images as limiting and imprisoning.

I now see the perfection of a system so changing that its purpose becomes obvious; It is to be transcended, nothing more.

Become the Source of Creation, not the Created, or even the master of the Created, and then you will be free to Love the system unconditionally.

"One thing that struck me was the stripping of ego in the work. Most of us have a comfy ego façade, but weakness and disease tore Katherine’s away. The poems in Be Loved Beloved come from the heart."
