Double Your Reading Speed
Free NLP Techniques

I just listened to one of the webinars from the first day of the NLP Mindfest - full of free NLP techniques. Having promoted it on the site, I am delighted to say that it was excellent. No waffle at all, just excellent content.
If you are asking:
I have brain fog and brain fatigue.
How do I make the most of what my brain can do?
then this is a useful seminar for you.
Paul Scheele led the NLP seminar on how to double your reading speed. We started by timing how much we read in 1 minute and did the same at the end. I read more, not quite double, but I took in much more of what I reading, I felt in a better state of mind, and enjoyed it more.
Isn't it funny? I run a site on healing, I have seen amazing things in my own life and in those around me, yet I am still astonished that something delivers on its promise. The questioning sceptic in me is clearly alive and kicking!
By the time you read this, the seminar is probably no longer available for free. They are available for 24 hours. After that, you can buy them if you buy the whole set. This seminar does gives a taster of a photo reading course offered on the site, so you can look at that if you are interested.
I thought I would pass on a reading tip. I hope that is OK with Paul Scheele.
This is quite extraordinary. It is called The Tangerine Technique
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in.
Now imagine picking up an imaginary tangerine. Shift it from hand to hand to get a feel for the weight. Reach up and place it behind your head – touch the back of your head as you do so. Let it float above and behind your head and leave it there.
Now take your hand away. Allow a smile to form on your face.
Feel how relaxed your face is, and how your posture is comfortable.
Know that you are reading this with great comprehension and start to read.
I did this, along with other recommendations and really did notice that I was reading phrases instead of individual words and I felt so much more comfortable.
I still have lower than normal concentration levels, so it would be great if I can follow the instructions.
The question is, will I? The challenge is always:
Do we apply this stuff? :-)
