Ecology Poem

If Only ....

If only, we would look within
search deep into our heart and soul
Send love and light into the cosmos
to save our planet and make it whole.

If only, we would stop the destruction, wars and pollution of today
reduce our carbon footprint, become eco-friendly,
save our rainforests, plant more trees,
live life in a greener, more spiritual and loving way.

If only, we would embrace Mother Nature's beauty,
the animals, flowers, rainforests, birds and bees
we need to act to save our planet, that really is our fate,
embrace and learn to love it before it’s all too late.

Listen

Close your eyes and listen
Listen to the stillness
the birds, the plants, the trees
They are calling to us to help save our planet
Listen to the sea as it breaks on the beach
listen to the shingle chattering away
begging us to help save our planet
Listen to the animals, they have a lot to say
all saying the same thing, save our planet
before its too late
So, if you are by the beach or in the forest
listen and assure them all you will do your best
Open your heart, look deep into your soul
give out precious love and light
and help make our earth once again whole.
