Awe in Nature Poem

A CLEAR VIEW

The vastness of a clear blue sky
our Father decorated to please my eye.
Filling my mind with 'Wonders' of Him,
the outerbowl of Heavens overspill.
My soul can reach out, way up in the air,
past the moon and stars, knowing he's there.
Yet in mortal form, my soul can learn to dance,
learn to see the earth in its majestic stance.
There are natural forms still in parts,
where man's ugly moulds leave our minds and hearts.

He leads me sometimes by a quiet stream,
where I lie in the sun and imagine His dream.
Where the wonder of trees can fill my mind,
or the sweet smell of earth if my eyes be blind.
The nightingale cannot write down her tune,
anymore than I can reach and touch the moon.
Some nights I've stood watching a shooting star,
knowing my soul can reach that far.
Bringing me God so much closer to you,
On a Clear Night, Heaven's on view

Who Is God?

He is the clouds in the sky above,
That are as white as the beautiful flying doves.
The little bird that you hear sing,
The sound of the bells as they ring,
The wind and the breeze that make the waves,
The beautiful flowers bundled in a vase,
The flowers that bloom in the spring,
The sound of a violin that plays a beautiful string.

He is the air that we breathe.

He is Eternity
He is the Trinity.

AMEN
