In The Mirror

In the mirror I see reflections
of a life gone wrong.
I realize it's because my first love is gone.
Now I wonder how I can get back to the LOVE I had before Satan's attack.

With scales on my eyes it's hard to see.
But I know my first love is waiting for me.
With his arms wide open he will pardon me.
And when the scales have fallen
my first love I'll see.

Love❤

Your love keeps me going
Your love keeps my heart glowing
Your love changes lives
Your love takes away the lies
Your love came down to set me free
Your love came down and rescued me
Your love is overflowing
Your love is forever going
Your love never will forsake me
With your love the devil can never break me

All that I have has been taken
By the master of lies who breaks down lives
And plays tricks in my mind
Saying I’m not doing enough, I have too much fat on the side

But you the father of life see potential in my eyes
You say: Don't listen to him, you’re mine
You break the chains over my life
You are with me by my side

When I stand

When I stand
In dismay
On a day like today
Wouldn't have it any
Other way
On bended knee
Thank you God for saving me
For the hope in troubled
Circumstances
To live again
What are the chances?
I should be dead ten times over
But in life I do discover
Love that's free
Love from you to me
A love that's strong
Knows right from wrong
It gives me the strength
To carry on
