Poem God's invitation to love
by Delgraco Fortune
(LOUISIANA)
THE INVITATION TO LOVE
To all who have ears and hear the sound of His voice,
To the sons and daughters of God, rejoice, again I say rejoice.
The Divine Deity, The Heavenly Family which is above,
Has cordially extended to us a personal invite,
THE INVITATION TO LOVE.
The harvest is plentiful, the workers are few,
The spiritual war for our souls rages on, and WE WANT YOU!
This is an open invite for all to come and share with He
In the wonderful provisions, promises, and protection of thee.
The sheep are gathering, the Lost Tribes are recalled,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon us, our broken earthly vessels overhauled.
The reapers are reaping, the sowers are sowing,
the seers are seeing, the knowers are knowing.
We are crucified with Christ to a life now ongoing,
Christ dwells richly within us to render this invite foregoing.
So arise, slumberer, for the time is near,
Awake and be vigilant for the day is here.
Come one come all, no need to R.S.V.P
Tell one tell all that it’s time for UNITY.
Dress code is enforced. As new creations we should be anew,
We gird upon our waist the belt of Truth.
Righteousness must be worn as our sturdy breastplate,
complementing our dart-blocking-shield, the Shield of Faith.
We are never without the Spirit of the Word,
Faith cometh by it, being heard,
We crown our head with the helmet of salvation,
immovable against lust and temptation.
His Love in manifestation was sin’s appropriation,
The son of God’s emancipation,
And the heart of man’s purification.
Not only for us, but for all generations
We go forth in this world as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves,
We hear and answer when we receive our call,
THE INVITATION TO LOVE

Christian poetry joy

Christian poetry
His Gentle Call
I travelled back, to heaven’s gate
Knelt down in his temple crate
You stirred the records, I can’t erase
Melody as bubbles, my soul writes
The symphony, she reads in You
Oh what joy, I stand tall,
My delight in heaven’s call
You hear the sounds, printed in my heart
What a joy, what a call
Not a ploy, your joyous call
Memories painted in the clouds
Sky blue stars and moon dance
As His glory drips below
Rain pours and fountains burst
The Disciples honoured his name
At Mt Sinai trusting fortune
For His fate would be our faith
Mankind sheltered by His wings
Sins in Calvary, I wept!
I know his voice in his touch
So salient, gentle and lush
Living bread clothes the dry bones
Come back home, I am home
Surrender shattered pieces home
Sin nourishes in delay,
Flesh most gullible falls astray
What a joy, what a call
Not a ploy, your joyous call
Memories painted in the clouds
Crystal stars and moon dance in tune
As His glory drips below
Rain pours and fountains burst
Planted in His embrace, guardian of my galaxy
Timeless rich symphonies, heal my broken pieces Lord
Life’s too short to mourn and despair
One who heals, One who repairs
It’s the healing words in your Word
His healing word, His thunder grip
Fallen rocks he folds to life,
I bask in your majesty, swept in Your gentle love
